How does JA enable students to run their businesses?

JA is a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers—all working together to prepare and inspire young people to reach their potential and succeed in today’s global economy

The JA Company Program allows students to experience the risks and rewards of entrepreneurship by starting and operating an after-school business with the help of some amazing sponsors, volunteers and advisers. The program is 18 weeks long, starting from early October till mid-March and it is free of charge. The meetings run once a week between 6 pm and 9 pm.
